James Young Bentley MkVI (1946- 1952)

James Young Bentleys were aluminium bodied sports roadsters manufactured after Bentley was acquired by Rolls Royce - they were also known initially as the Mark 6 and then as the R-Type

This superb James Young Bentley was used by 613 Peter Leistra (Peewee) from Holland at the Firecracker 16 meeting on 4th November 2007 at Arena Essex

The original 1949 Bentley used 4,256cc straight six engine however this one appears to be on Range Rover running gear and was still equipped with 4 wheel drive when it raced - which is technically against the rules
